65th Annual UOL Convention – Day 3!
The last full day of the Convention began with Divine Liturgy in honor of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Great Prince Volodymyr, celebrated by Very Reverend Father Myron Oryhon, a pastor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Allentown, PA and a spiritual advisor of the host chapter and Very Reverend Father Bazyl Zawierucha, provost of St. Sophia Seminary and a pastor of Holy Dormition of the Theotokos Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Northampton, PA.
This Saturday, being the feast day commemorating Equal-to-the-Apostles Great Prince Volodymyr, His Eminence Archbishop Antony led the assembled in singing Mnohaya Lita to those celebrating their Name’s day.
The Juniors presented a $700 check to the President of the Consistory of the UOC of the USA - His Eminence Archbishop Antony as a result of their initiative to send 10% of Junior UOL yearly income to the Consistory of the UOC of the USA.

Daria Pishko of Maplewood, NJ announced the following events:
Saturday, November 3rd: Workshop for clergy, youth workers, parents and parishioners entitled “Bless Thine Inheritance: Building Youth Ministry” in Maplewood, NJ
Saturday, November 17th: Solemn March commemorating the Holodomor in New York City.
After a few other announcements, the 65th Annual Ukrainian Orthodox League Convention was adjourned, and the delegates began their preparations for the Vespers service as well as a traditional UOL banquet, at which Archbishop Antony appointed His Grace Bishop Daniel to serve as a spiritual father of the Senior UOL Executive Board and Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Ugolnick – a spiritual father of the Junior UOL Executive Board.
